Agile Planet was founded in 2008 by Chetan Kapoor, who was previously the Associate Director of the Robotics Group at University of Texas at Austin. Agile Planet is based in Austin, Texas and holds an exclusive license to technology that was developed at U.T. Austin over the past 15 years.
